Top drivers pick lowly start positions

Qualifying pacesetter Petter Solberg gambled on the rain staying away from the Acropolis Rally, by deciding to run at the back of the pack through the opening day of the Greek event. The Ford driver's fastest time at Thursday morning's qualifying stage afforded him to opportunity to select his place on the road first, and the 2003 world champion wasted no time in deciding on 13th place, the last of the World Rally Cars.
