Di Resta had hoped to land top seat

Paul di Resta admits he was disappointed after missing out on the chance to land a racing seat with a top Formula 1 team for 2013. The Scot looks set to stay at Force India for another year, despite his name having been linked with teams like McLaren before the British squad announced Sergio Perez as Lewis Hamilton's replacement . Di Resta concedes he was hoping to drive for a team with which he would be able to fight for race wins, but insisted he saw the positives of staying at Force India
