Experience Conquers Monster Mile

The roller coaster named Dover International Speedway played host to Week Seven of the NASCAR iRacing.com Class A Series (NiCAS), and much like the blistering speeds, the point totals were staggering. Despite the track’s relatively short length of one mile, Dover more than makes up for it with banking. The twenty four degrees of banking is one of the most extreme numbers of any tracks, including tracks twice the size. As if the stadium like high banked track wasn’t odd enough, in 1995 the surface was changed from asphalt to concrete, further baffling drivers and teams.
