Mikkelsen keeps Kopecky at bay

Andreas Mikkelsen responded to a charge from Jan Kopecky to maintain his lead heading for the second service break on Rally Islas Canarias. After Mikkelsen had edged away from fellow Skoda driver Kopecky on this morning's first loop, the Czech driver fought back with two fastest times at the start of the second group of stages, getting the gap down to just 1.6 seconds. But then Mikkelsen retaliated on the Tejeda stage, where he was quickest by 3.5s, restoring his advantage to 5.1s overall
