Stoner takes blame for qualifying slump

Casey Stoner says he must take a share of the blame after qualifying just fifth for the Jerez Grand Prix - his worst starting slot since Malaysia 2010. After ending almost one second down on works Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa in qualifying, Stoner blamed both himself and the inclement conditions which hampered set-up work throughout practice.
