Ducati test plans wrecked by rain

Ducati was frustrated by rain at Jerez as it tried to get three days of running in ahead of next month's first official MotoGP test of the year at Sepang. Test riders Michele Pirro and Franco Battaini were present at the Spanish track from Saturday through to Monday, but managed little mileage until the final day. New team boss Bernhard Gobmeier was present at the track for the first time, and said Ducati had achieved as much as it could in the circumstances
