Van de Laar joins European F3 grid

Dennis van de Laar will compete in the Formula 3 European Championship this year with Van Amersfoort Racing. The 19-year-old Dutchman finished ninth in German F3 with the team and then made his European debut at the Hockenheim season finale, at which he took a best finish of 14th. "It is a great challenge for me to compete against the best Formula 3 drivers in the world," he said.
